Not choosing from ready-made — creating your own

A white hinged wardrobe is a versatile solution for the bedroom, hallway and children’s room: the light-coloured body visually expands the space and complements any wall finish. We make every model to your individual dimensions — from a narrow tall cabinet to a built-in storage system spanning the entire wall.

You can order such a wardrobe in any width from 40 cm — two-door, three-door and four-door models, with overhead compartments, shelves, drawers and a hanging rail. There is no ready-made stock: everything is crafted in our own workshop to order, so the range is not limited to the catalogue.

What a hinged wardrobe is made of

The tone can vary: pure white, milk white, cream, light grey. For enamel finishes, we match the colour using RAL and NCS catalogues; board materials come in a wide choice of décors — with a smooth surface or a subtle wood grain.

A matt finish without glare suits a restrained interior, while a gloss surface reflects light much more strongly — this visually enlarges the room. A combined option is white fronts with wooden handles and a plinth trim. Enamel is the more premium option; film is more budget-friendly than painted finishes.

  • Milled detailing — a vertical slat, a soft arch, a slim frame along the edge.
  • Panel details and mouldings — for a formal interior, together with a cornice and pilasters.
  • Smooth handle-free doors — open by the edge or via a recessed groove.
  • Handles — long black pulls, gold, chrome or wood.

Inside — sections with a hanging rail, shelves for folded items, a bank of drawers for underwear and accessories, and top compartments for seasonal items and suitcases. Usually the rail and shelves are combined within one cabinet body.

We fit drawers with soft-close mechanisms and use hinges at different levels, including Blum. You can add extra shelves for books at the end or an open section with coat rails.

The doors open outwards, so you need a walkway in front of the wardrobe roughly the width of a door. For clothes to hang freely, the cabinet depth is usually 55–60 cm; for an entryway it can be shallower.

We choose the height to suit the room — with top compartments or full-height doors. To zone items by purpose, it is convenient to divide the wardrobe into 2-, 3- and 4-door sections.

White wardrobes with hinged doors

White adds freshness and light to a room, so such wardrobes fit easily into both classic and contemporary interiors. Hinged doors give easy access to everything at once: open a door and you see the whole section. This is the main advantage over sliding wardrobes and the reason why wardrobes with hinged doors are so popular in homes.

Key characteristics

  • Carcass — laminated board or MDF; both materials are certified.
  • Fronts — matte, gloss, enamel, with routed detailing or smooth.
  • Dimensions — width from 40 cm, height and depth to suit your belongings.
  • Style — from classic with panelled doors to clean Scandi and minimalism.
  • Quality — products comply with material certifications, with a 2-year furniture warranty.

How to choose and buy

First decide what you will store: outerwear, hanging clothes, linen or shoes — this determines how many rails, shelves and drawers you need. Then check the space, allowing for the doors to open fully — a tape is enough, and the specialist will confirm exact dimensions. To buy a wardrobe to your dimensions, request a quote — after the designer consultation designer consultation we will prepare a sketch and quote. Need a chest of drawers or a cabinet in the same finish — we will make it in a matching style, so you can create a cohesive setting, including furniture from a single manufacturer.

Questions and answers

Frequently asked questions about custom furniture

Are white hinged wardrobes prone to marks?

It is no more demanding than furniture in other light tones, and care is simple. Dust is less visible on white than on dark, while fingerprints show more on gloss than on a matt surface. Marks are easy to wipe away with a soft cloth without streaks.

Does white turn yellow over time?

High-quality enamel and board with a protective layer are resistant to fading, and the colour stays even for a long time. Even so, it is best not to place the wardrobe where direct sunlight falls on it all day.

Does a white wardrobe suit any interior?

With almost any: it is a base colour that works with most shades and styles, from Scandi and minimalism to classic. The exception is a room where all the furniture and walls are dark: there a light wardrobe will stand out strongly.

How is a hinged wardrobe different from a sliding wardrobe?

By the opening system. A hinged wardrobe has doors on hinges, which need clearance, but the internal space is used in full. A sliding-door wardrobe saves space in front thanks to its sliding doors.

What should I choose for the fronts — enamel or laminated board?

Chipboard is the most budget-friendly option, with a wide choice of décors. Enamel is more premium and takes longer, but it allows any tone to be matched and milled detailing to be created. We can show samples at the meeting.

What depth should a wardrobe be for hanging clothes?

Usually 55–60 cm — as a rule, this is enough: clothes hang freely, do not crease and do not catch on the doors. For an entryway or narrow passage, we make the cabinet shallower and use an end-mounted rail.

Can it be placed in a child’s room?

Yes. A light wardrobe makes a child’s room brighter, and hinged doors are easy for a child to open. Our team will send material certificates on request; hinges and drawers come with soft-close mechanisms.

How much does a custom white hinged wardrobe cost?

The exact quote is provided after the sketch: it depends on sizes, finish, interior layout and hardware. Chipboard models take from 3 weeks, and those with enamel fronts around 2 months. A designer designer consultation visit can be arranged.

Built-in or freestanding — which to choose?

A built-in design occupies a niche from floor to ceiling and becomes part of the wall — without gaps, on a low plinth. A freestanding wardrobe is suitable if the furniture may simply be rearranged later: it is placed where there is no niche or complex wall geometry. The team will help arrange a designer designer consultation visit and choose the right option for the space.

How do I pay?

70% deposit, the remaining 30% one week before completion.
