Not choosing from ready-made — creating your own

A modular wardrobe is assembled from individual sections — columns, top boxes, open shelving, wall-mounted units and cabinets — which are combined to suit the wall and the task. The section includes modular systems for a child’s room, bedroom, living room and hallway. We select the set of modules, fronts and internal layout to suit your space.

Questions and answers

Frequently asked questions about custom furniture

Can't find an answer? Call us or send an enquiry — a designer will reply during business hours.

How is a modular cabinet different from a standard one?

It consists of sections, each with its own carcass: columns with doors, open shelving, top boxes and wall-mounted units. Modules can be arranged in a row, in an L-shape or in a stepped layout, and over time the system can be extended with new modules.

How to choose a set of modules?

Start with what you need to store: clothes, books, toys or dishes. Clothes require tall columns with a hanging rail, books need open shelves, and small items need drawers. The designer will assemble a straight or corner composition from the modules and show it in 3D.

Are modular wardrobes suitable for a children’s room?

Yes, the section mostly features models like these: columns with top boxes, open niches and woven baskets in the plinth. As the child grows, modules can be added to the system.

Can wall-mounted modules be added?

Yes, the units can be wall-mounted above the cabinets, as in the Santander model, freeing up floor space. Wall-mounted and floor-standing modules combine within one system.

Where else can modular furniture be used?

For any room in the home: in the living room as a wall unit with open shelves and closed cabinets, in the bedroom as a wardrobe, in the study as a library, and in the hallway or bathroom with open niches for towels and shoes.

Which fronts and materials do you use?

Chipboard, MDF (painted, fluted), enamel, veneer, glass and mirror. This is cabinet furniture; we make the carcass from E1-class materials, and different modules can be made in different materials — for example, white columns and open shelves in veneer.

Which colours are available?

White and light, grey, dark, wood-effect and coloured — olive, blue, peach, terracotta. Modules within one system can differ in appearance and colour.

What goes inside the modules?

Shelves, drawers with soft-close mechanisms, hanging rails, wire and woven baskets, and lighting for open niches. For seasonal items, top boxes above the columns are used.

What sizes can the modules be?

Any size: we design modules to fit your wall and ceiling height, rather than a standard grid. The width of each section is chosen so that doors and drawers open comfortably.

Can I buy some modules now and others later?

Yes, the system can be ordered as a whole or started with several modules and later extended with others in the same finish. That is why it is best to incorporate the overall look of the future system into the project from the start.

How much does a modular wardrobe cost?

The models in this section are made to order. The cost depends on the number of modules, fronts and internal layout; the photos show examples, and the final quote will be calculated after designer consultation.

How do ordering and assembly work?

The dimensions are recorded, the designer prepares a 3D project, and after the design is approved the modules are produced at our factory from 3 weeks (with enamel or veneer fronts — about 2 months).

What warranty do you provide?

Furniture warranty — 2 years; Blum hardware — 25 years.
