Not choosing from ready-made — creating your own

A white wardrobe is a light base for a bedroom or hallway that does not weigh down the room even when large: light fronts feel airy, reflect light, visually expand the space and work with any textiles and décor. We make wardrobes to order in our own factory to suit your wardrobe — around the number of hanging items, shelves for folded clothes and drawers.

The section features hinged models with panels, mouldings and routing: two-door, three-door and four-door, as well as a model with sliding gloss doors on tracks. Prices are shown as starting prices; the final price depends on width, finish and interior specification, including hardware.

For your wardrobe

What fits in a wardrobe

Dresses, coats and suits hang on hangers from rails. For long items we allow a full-height section; for shirts and jackets, two rails one above the other. So clothes do not catch on the doors, the carcass depth is usually 55–60 cm. The underwear section can be shallower.

Sweaters and knitwear go on shelves with comfortable spacing, underwear and accessories in soft-close drawers, bags and boxes on the top shelf. A drawer unit works well at the bottom of the central section.

Full-height top cupboards take suitcases, blankets and off-season items without taking space from the everyday wardrobe. From the outside they look like a continuation of the façade.

Panels and mouldings with brass handles for classic and Provençal styles; fine frame routing or slatted detail for a soft contemporary interior; gloss when more light is needed. The routing pattern and handle colour are your choice; combination options include white with grey or beige. The same finish can be used for a dressing table or a hallway bench with a drawer.

Advantages of a white wardrobe

  • Light visual volume — even large full-wall wardrobes do not feel bulky.
  • Easy to combine — this colour works with both wood and coloured surfaces, making it easier to choose the rest of the furniture.
  • Any style — from classic to minimalism and Scandi.

Where this furniture is especially appropriate

In the bedroom — next to the bed, chest of drawers or bedside tables in the same palette; it works with any function of the room. In a child's room — a white body does not overload the interior, while colour can be added through textiles and toys. In the hallway — a light wardrobe compensates for the lack of daylight.

How to buy a custom hinged wardrobe

Take stock of your storage needs: how many items hang on hangers, how many are folded in stacks, whether you need shoe storage. Decide on the format — a narrow tall unit, a tall hinged wardrobe up to the ceiling, two-, three- or four-door, with or without bookshelves. Consider the room's features: low ceilings, a window, a radiator. Then submit an enquiry — we will help you choose the configuration: a designer consultation designer consultation will be arranged to take dimensions, and we will prepare a sketch and quote so that the wardrobe meets your storage needs and does not look like a 'box' in the middle of the room. The price is fixed once the sketch is approved.

Questions and answers

Frequently asked questions about custom furniture

Can't find an answer? Call us or send an enquiry — a designer will reply during business hours.

Does a white wardrobe show marks easily?

Marks are more noticeable than on dark wood, but easy to wipe away with a cloth and neutral cleaner. Families with children often choose matte or slightly textured fronts — fingerprints show less than on gloss.

Is this wardrobe only suitable for light interiors?

No, it looks great in contrasting schemes too: dark floor, accent wall, dark bed. In such interiors white acts as a point of light.

Should the entire closet system be white, or is one wardrobe enough?

Depends on the brief. One large light-coloured unit is often enough, with other units in a wood tone so the room doesn’t feel sterile.

Hinged or sliding doors — which is more convenient for clothing?

A hinged wardrobe opens the whole section at once and works if there is clearance for the doors; hinged wardrobes offer a wider choice of finishes. Sliding doors come into their own in narrow rooms and hallways. Both options are in this section.

What is the price of hinged and sliding-door wardrobes?

Hinged models and sliding-door wardrobes are both available. The final price depends on width, finish, number of drawers and hardware; door hinges are available at different levels, including Blum. The simpler the finish, the lower the price; chipboard furniture is the most affordable. A designer consultation designer consultation includes a sketch. All pricing information is in the quote.

Which finish should I choose — enamel or chipboard?

Chipboard is an affordable option with several light décors, including a warm Scandinavian white. Enamel gives any RAL and NCS shade and allows for panels and routing, but costs more and takes longer — around 2 months versus 3 weeks for chipboard.

Can I add shelving and lighting?

Yes. An open shelving unit with lighting — warm or neutral — can be added at the end; inside, lights above the rail. It is best planned from the start, at the sketch stage.

How do I pay?

70% deposit, balance one week before completion; payment by cash, bank transfer or invoice.
