Not choosing from ready-made — creating your own

A mirrored sliding wardrobe solves two tasks at once: it stores clothes and replaces a full-length mirror. The reflective panel visually enlarges the room and adds light, which is why such wardrobes are chosen for both a spacious bedroom and a compact hallway.

You can buy a mirrored sliding wardrobe from us only made to order: width from 160 cm, height and depth to suit your space, and the reflection can cover the full door, run as a strip or be set in inserts. The price depends on materials, and furniture from the same collection can be complemented with a chest of drawers.

How the façade can look

One or several doors made entirely of mirror. This creates the strongest sense of space: the wardrobe literally dissolves into the interior, and there is no need for a separate mirror by the entrance. A slim black profile can divide the panel into rectangles, like a window frame.

A mirror stripe at eye level runs across all doors and forms a single band. It can be decorated with diamond engraving or combined with matte white, brown and graphite panels above and below.

Bronze, graphite or beige glossy glass reflects more softly, without harsh glare, and pairs well with dark wood and a black profile. A convenient solution for a bedroom where bright reflection is distracting.

A central mirrored door with outer doors in wood-grain board, routed panels, enamel, veneer or fluted glass. A combined façade looks calmer than a full mirror surface and suits modern, neoclassical, Provence and loft interiors.

Sliding wardrobe with a mirror: how to choose

Essentially, it is a clothes wardrobe made for your home: thanks to the reflection it looks lighter, and the door design is selected to suit the interior. You decide whether to include mirrored inserts, their size and placement.

The mirror panel is set into an aluminium profile in the same way as the other doors, and the sliding door system does not take up space when opening — such a wardrobe can even be placed in a narrow passage. There are straight wardrobes along a wall and corner ones, freestanding and built-in.

Where best to place it

The best position is opposite a window or slightly to the side of it: the panel reflects daylight and makes the room brighter. It is best not to place two mirrors opposite each other or opposite a shelving unit full of items — the reflection will overload the interior.

Dimensions

Width — from 160 cm, with no upper limit. Height is usually floor-to-ceiling: this way the wardrobe accommodates both long items and overhead storage. Depth for hanging clothes is around 60 cm; for a narrow hallway, less, from 40 cm. Inside there are shelves, hanging rails, drawers and hooks for your wardrobe, including a shoe storage section. There is no upper limit along the wall length — we can make a wardrobe several metres long.

It is more cost-effective to buy such a wardrobe directly from the manufacturer. The price of a sliding wardrobe with a mirror depends on the dimensions, the number of mirrored doors, the type of glass and the internal layout. We can make a chest of drawers, cabinet or book shelving in the same finish to match — all the furniture will be from one collection.

Questions and answers

Frequently asked questions about custom furniture

Can't find an answer? Call us or send an enquiry — a designer will reply during business hours.

Can a sliding wardrobe with a mirror be placed in a narrow hallway?

Yes. For narrow hallways and small rooms, we make a shallower carcass — from 40 cm: it does not block the passage, and the reflection visually expands the space.

What depth is needed for a wardrobe for long garments?

To keep clothes on hangers from touching the doors and getting creased, the depth should be at least 60 cm. The height of the section for coats and dresses starts at 150 cm; we allow for this in the sketch.

How should I care for the mirror on the doors?

Mirrors are cleaned with a special abrasive-free product and polished to a shine with a soft cloth. To keep the doors moving smoothly, occasionally clean the lower and upper tracks with a vacuum cleaner.

How many doors should have a mirror?

It depends on the purpose of the room. By the entrance door, the mirror is often placed on all doors; in a bedroom or a teenager’s room, a single central mirror or a strip so that the reflection is not too bright. We show the mirror layout in the sketch.

Are the materials safe?

The carcass is chipboard and MDF, both certified; our team will send the certificates on request.

Can I view samples and our completed projects in person?

If travelling is inconvenient for you, we can bring material samples to your designer consultation designer consultation.

How do I buy a sliding wardrobe with a mirror, what does designer consultation cost and how long does the wardrobe take to make?

Request a quote — we will arrange a designer consultation designer consultation. Chipboard wardrobes take from 3 weeks; with enamel or veneer, around 2 months from project approval.

Can you offer a more affordable option?

Yes: the budget option has doors made of board with ready-made décor and one reflective insert, with film instead of enamel. We use the same profiles, so there is no difference in how smoothly the doors run. Tell us your budget and the team will help you choose.
