Custom-sized hinged-door wardrobes

A hinged door opens the entire section at once. You can see everything and easily reach the far shelf. That is why wardrobes with hinged doors remain the most intuitive storage solution in the bedroom, living room and hallway.

Each model is made in our own production for a specific space. The carcass fits into a wall section or occupies the entire wall up to the ceiling. There is no upper limit: the number of sections is determined by the wall, not by a catalogue.

How many doors you need

  • Single-door — narrow models for small rooms and hallways. A narrow tall cabinet works well next to a doorway.
  • Two-door — a rail and shelves behind two doors. Suitable for the bedroom and children’s room.
  • Three-door — a section with shelves and drawers is added to the rail.
  • Four-door and more — large wardrobes across the entire wall with a linen section and top storage compartments.

Combined models combine solid doors, open shelves and a glass-front display section. Modular systems will not fit a wall as precisely: there is always a gap between them and the ceiling.

Height, depth and internal layout

Height is most often taken up to the ceiling: an upper tier appears for seasonal items. Depth is chosen according to purpose. Full depth is needed for clothes on hangers; shallower shelves are enough for books and shoes. When choosing a layout, it is easier to start with a list of belongings. Long clothing, folded jumpers, bags and shoes require different sections.

Inside, rails, shelves, pull-out drawers and trouser racks are installed. Open sections with shelving serve for décor, and lighting helps you find what you need in the evening.

Straight, corner and built-in options

Straight models are placed along one wall. If the wall is short, it is better to use a corner: two sections meet at a right angle and take up unused space. A built-in option needs no side panels or back panel when a niche already exists. Overhead top compartments above a doorway add a tier for boxes and suitcases.

In the hallway, hook rails, a shelf for hats and shoe racks at the bottom are installed inside. In the bedroom, a long rail and linen drawers are more important. The best solutions for the home come when sections are designed for real belongings, not a standard layout.

Fronts and style

Walnut veneer gives a lively wood grain. Enamel can be matte or gloss. MDF allows milling: arches, frames, graphic ornament. Glass doors in a black or bronze profile turn a section into a display cabinet.

Modern models are made smooth, with long vertical handles or a handle at the end of the door. Classic models get a framed front and cornice. Light framed doors suit Provençal style; beige matte fronts and wood suit Scandinavian style. Black matte with brass looks strict and luxurious. A dressing table or shoe racks in the same finish can be placed nearby.

Ordering and lead times

The final quote depends on the number of doors, front finishes and internal fittings.

Request a quote on the website — we will answer your questions and send information on the models. A designer provides a designer consultation, then we agree the sketch. Production takes from 3 weeks (with enamel or veneer fronts — around 2 months).

Questions and answers

Frequently asked questions about custom furniture

Can't find an answer? Call us or send an enquiry — a designer will reply during business hours.

How much does a made-to-order hinged-door wardrobe cost?

The quote depends on the number of doors, front material, drawers and lighting. We confirm the exact figure after the designer consultation and approval of the sketch.

What makes hinged doors better than sliding doors?

A hinged door opens the section fully, and items are visible at once. Sliding doors save space in front of the carcass, but one part always remains closed. For a narrow hallway, choose sliding doors; for the bedroom, hinged doors are more common.

Which wardrobe is best for a small room?

A narrow single-door or two-door model up to the ceiling. Light fronts and a mirror visually expand the space. A tall carcass holds more than a wide, low one.

What depth is needed for clothes on hangers?

Hangers should hang freely across the rail, so full depth is needed for them. Shallower sections are made for books, shoes and small items. Exact dimensions are confirmed by our specialist during the designer consultation.

Can a wardrobe be combined with open shelving?

Yes. An open shelving unit for books and décor can be added to the side or between sections. A lit niche breaks up a large wall and makes it feel lighter.

Can the doors be made with glass?

Yes. The glass is clear or tinted, in a black or bronze profile. Hanging rails and shelves with lighting are placed behind it, and the section works as a display cabinet.

Is a hinged-door wardrobe suitable for a children's room?

Yes. For a children's room, we recommend a lower hanging rail that a child can reach themselves, and shelves for toys and books. The upper tier is kept for seasonal items.

Which handles can be fitted?

Long vertical handles, short brass handles, a milled handle at the edge or a push mechanism without handles. Handles are fitted to each door so the leaves open independently.

Do you make wardrobes for a study and living room?

Yes. For a study, shelves for folders and books are provided inside; for a living room, open sections for décor and closed ones for storage. A single finish ties the furniture in the room together.

Are there ready-made models?

There are no ready-made items in stock. Each wardrobe is made to order: to your dimensions, in the chosen finish and with the required interior configuration.

How long does production take?

Production takes from 3 weeks (with enamel or veneer façades — about 2 months) after the sketch is approved.

How do I pay for an order?

Payment is made in three stages: 20% for documentation, 50% when production starts and 30% on completion. We accept cash and bank transfer, including from companies.
