The backrest is rectangular, flat and unquilted, with no armrests; the seat and backrest are woven in a chequer pattern from wide, flat straps with a smooth surface. The frame is light wood with visible grain: four curved legs joined by stretchers; width 66 cm, depth 74 cm, height 75 cm, seat height 33 cm.
